Getting ready

This gorgeous mountain cabin had a beautiful vintage corner that I couldn't stop photographing!! All the little details told their story, right down to cans of Red Bull tucked in the detail shots. Watching Lierra's mom button up her dress had me hiding behind my camera, trying not to cry. And across the way, you could feel the groom's nervous-excited energy as his mom pinned on his boutonniere.

Ceremony

They turned the main room of the cabin into their ceremony space, pushing the couches aside to make way for the chairs gathered from every corner of the house. It all came together perfectly, right down to the simple center aisle. Just them and their closest people, tucked into a cozy cabin, witnessing their new beginning. And through it all, God was given the glory, quietly woven into every part of the ceremony. My favorite moment was catching the bride and her father peeking through the window right before they walked down the aisle.

Bride + Groom

Right after the ceremony, we stepped outside together. They shared a quiet, private moment together, just soaking it all in. Then it was time to crack open the Red Bulls to celebrate. From there, we wandered around the cabin grounds and got some beautiful portraits, the mountains doing most of the work as a backdrop.

Reception

Instead of a traditional cake cutting, they made their unique crème brûlée cakes right there in front of everyone. Sauce first, then sugar sprinkled on top, a torch to flame it just right, and fresh berries on top. Everyone crowded around, and it was easily one of the most fun parts of the whole day.
